Semester Recap
Friday, May 9, 2008
PIKE would like to congratulate Alpha Epsilon pledge class for making it through. This semester is coming to an end and PIKE has made this its best year. From winning Greek Week 2008 for the second time, winning Mason Homecoming King, and eventually winning All Sports, we've shown to everybody that we are the best. PIKE also completed 800 hours of community service and raised over $6500 for various causes. Also, out of 16 Greek organizations, PIKE and two others were awarded a bench on campus. Take a look at the awards page for a list of all awards won during the 2007-2008 school year. On this note, I'd like to congratulate Chi and Psi class for graduating. Stay tuned for Fall rush schedule. Have a good summer.

Greek Week Results and Philanthropy
Sunday, April 6, 2008
PIKE just finished competing in George Mason's week long event called Greek Week. PIKE was up against all the Greek societies in different events every day. The overall cause for Greek Week was to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. When it was all said and done, PIKE raised just over $1640 and all Greek societies as a whole raised an incredible $13,500. In the end, PIKE was crowned GMU's 2008 Greek Week Champions! A recap in pictures and videos of Greek Week is posted under the media section. PIKE also has an upcoming philanthropy to raise money and awareness for Chronic Kidney Disease. More info is posted in the philanthropy section.
